The Living Wage Foundation is delighted to announce the winners of the Living Wage Champion Awards 2021. The Awards recognise and celebrate Living Wage Employers and individuals that are leading the movement by promoting the real Living Wage in their industries, supply chain and areas, leading to outstanding contributions to communities and industries across the UK.
The winners were celebrated yesterday evening at an online awards ceremony hosted by YolanDa Brown and sponsored by Aviva.
Laura Gardiner, Director of the Living Wage Foundation, said: "Congratulations to all those who won a Living Wage Champion Award. After this difficult year, it has been so inspiring to hear the stories of how this incredible collection of organisations and individuals have gone above and beyond to promote the Living Wage in their communities and sectors in a time of such great need.
They, and the almost 8,000 other Living Wage Employers, have ensured that our movement has remained strong and continued to grow throughout 2021, proving the importance of a wage that truly covers the cost of living and the benefits they have to businesses and workers, and it's fantastic to be able to take a moment to publicly thank a handful of those employers."
