Event Activity is critical to our mission of raising awareness of the work of the Living Wage Foundation and growing the Living Wage movement. Without support from sponsors our events wouldn’t be possible, your contributions are vital and we’re very grateful for them.
There a number of exciting sponsorship opportunities available in 2024. To take up sponsorship or to find out more get in touch with Katie Watts: katie.watts@livingwage.org.uk.
The Living Wage Champion Awards
The Living Wage Champion Awards is a very special evening in the Living Wage calendar. We bring together the Living Wage movement to celebrate the individuals, organisations and campaigns who have made an outstanding contribution to the Living Wage movement in the past twelve months.
The awards recognise the efforts of those across different sectors - from Health and Social care to Hospitality, and from those championing the Living Wage in their local areas to national businesses – it celebrates the people across our network who have created real change and gone above and beyond to champion the Living Wage and grow the movement.
This year we’re delighted that the ceremony will be held in Cardiff, in recognition of the incredible growth of the Living Wage movement in the city and across Wales.

"We are delighted to continue playing our part in The Living Wage movement by supporting and sponsoring the Champion Awards. At Everton we believe the Living Wage is an example of how businesses and organisations can work together to tackle in-work poverty. Therefore, recognising and celebrating employers and individuals who live their values by promoting the real living wage is not only a real honour for the Club but vital for the campaign's continued success.”
Kim Healey, Chief People & Culture Officer, Everton Football Club

Living Wage Week
We’re in the process of deciding what Living Wage Week will look like in 2024 as the General Election looks like it may fall close to or during the time we usually run it.
If you’re interested in supporting our LWW event activity let Katie know and we can contact you once we have more details to share.
Global Living Wage
In our role as official supporter of the UN Global Compact’s Forward, Faster initiative, we’ll be running a webinar for multinational LWEs on a range of topics. These include implications of the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) recent wage policy update; expansion of our Global Living Wage Affiliate Network, and the launch of an exciting new collaboration (WageMap) that will address the need for globally aligned Living Wage benchmark data.
If you would be interested in sponsoring this event get in touch with Katie and we can contact you once we have more details.
