Greenwich and Woolwich MP Matthew Pennycook visited newly accredited Living Wage employer Martin Arnold this week to celebrate the firm becoming a Living Wage accredited employer!
Martin Arnold is a multi-disciplinary Practice of professional Chartered Surveyors and Construction Consultants.
The firm took up Living Wage accreditation recently, joining twenty other Living Wage employers in the borough.
The Royal Borough of Greenwich is promoting the Living Wage accreditation through a Business Rates Reduction scheme.
Matthew Pennycook MP awarded Martin Arnold their Living Wage Employer plaque and congratulated the firm on the new accreditation.
Living Wage Foundation Director, Rhys Moore said:
We are delighted to award the Living Wage Mark to Martin Arnold. It is great to see responsible employers leading the way by acting now to challenge low pay. Across the country there are now over 1,500 accredited employers all proudly promoting the Living Wage. We are very grateful to Matthew Pennycook MP and to Cllr Denise Hyland and the Royal Borough of Greenwich for their particularly strong leadership on this issue.
