The Caithness-Moray Transmission Project highlights the key business benefits for paying the Living Wage.
Katherine Chapman, Director of the Living Wage Foundation said:
"The findings in the Caithness-Moray Report demonstrate perfectly how being a responsible employer by making sure your staff earn a fair day's pay is also good for the bottom line. Over 2700 employers have joined leading employers like SSE to pay the Living Wage which is set independently and based on the cost of living, unlike the Government's national minimum. We know this is good for business, as employees are more motivated and productive, and crucially it is good for employees and their families as they are better equipped to deal with the cost of living."
